I got this book and I have not been able to put it down. The two doctor are excellent in explaining and defining what carbs really are all about. They also tell you different ways of not sabotaging yourself and why leave substitute sweeteners and diet sodas alone. They even give you stories of their friends and different scenerios of what can happen, during parties and holidays and vacations. And what to watch out for in dining out. I love the way they explained their own personal struggles with weight loss. Just get this book and you will see what I am talking about. The information the two doctors tell you will open your eyes to a new way at looking at carbs, sugar, and how to live a slim life for life. No one explain carbs and biology behind why we gain weight the way the two doctors explains it. Really good book. Very simple read as well.Read full review
I first got this book from my library & read it. Liked it so much I had to buy it. Best plan I've seen for a program that can be used for life & adapted to any situation. This program really works & I would recommend it to anyone. The authors are "real" people with the same eating problems I have.
Gives you ways to eat healthy but You dont have to give up all the foods you love in the process! Gives some dinner plans. and lets you know what additives people like to add to there foods you should not use or cut back on.
