This book is unsatisfying whether you're a Protestant hoping to win over a Catholic to your viewpoint, or whether you're a Catholic looking for good theological points to debate with a non-Catholic Christian. Everything here has been said before - and said much better by much more qualified theologians! Protestants, don't waste your money on this book - each so-called "important thing" portrayed herein either completely misses its mark or at least lacks serious development of any real theological positions. Catholics, you will recognize this book immediately as yet one more misguided and uninformed tract falling far short of saying anything "important."
This book has helped our family, including my teenage daughter who is well on her way to witnessing to family members. You won't get a complex, drawn out explanation which requires even more research. Just clear, concise facts to easily consider..Have your Bible in hand, since you should ALWAYS refer to God's Word to confirm truth. :)

This is a good introductory book for Evangelicals to understand Roman Catholic doctrine and understand where Romanism doesn't line with scripture. Scripture alone is the infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God, not the traditions of men. God's Word never changes but men do.
