Bought this for my wife, who has just taken up golf. Club is light and well balanced (like the rocketballz irons) and has proven very easy to use. Right from the off she has been hitting it well. Being secondhand, it did not come with the adjustment tool so I don't know how useful it is being able to adjust the loft/angle. Overall she is very happy with this driver.
Well I can honestly say its not all just 'hype' about this driver...it TRULY IS AMAZING! First off, I'm a lady glofer with 2 1/2 years of golfing experience (taught by my patient husband)...I am by NO means a seasoned expert; BUT it didn't take a Rocket Scientist to see the difference this driver made in my game and distance off the tee. For the First Time - I finally broke 100 (Scored a 99 - and there was no fudging on this score whatsoever)! On the 18th tee I actually outdrove my son and one other guy we were playing with, and my son really hammered his drive. Granted the Ladies tee box was up a bit; but my total drive was approx 240!! NEVER have I ever hit it that far, and it was Effortless. You don't want to manhandle this driver and try to 'kill it'...let it do the work for you...smooth tempo, solid impact and you will be amazed at the distance you can achieve. I surely was. Even on miss hits, it was considerably more forgiving than my other driver. I can't say enough positives about this driver. Straight out of the bag, no practice, 1st tee box, straight long high flight resulting in only one other good hit, a chip, a putt and my first Pahr of the day. The driver is a men's High Launch (HL), Senior Flex, as I'm over 5'9" and feel the ladies drivers are a tidge too short for me. I Love Love Love my RBZ, and the price I got on eBay makes it that much more a new FAV. Taylormade Gal Alllllllllll the Way!!!Read full review
After seeing several other ladies in my golf league using this club and getting great distance - I decided to give it a try. Love the way that it's always "down the middle" - as long as you do not try to guide it or over swing - it will go down the middle every time. Great weight - light and easy to swing. Nice over-sized head but not too big and clumsy. What I did not like was the grip. Seems like for the money you spend, TaylorMade could put a top of the line grip on it! That was the first thing I did when I got it. Changed out to a top of the line grip and I have had nothing but great drives...as long as I remember to do the correct thing---just swing through and meet the ball --- do not try to "kill it" or "guide it". As long as you take a nice slow back swing and follow through - just meet the ball and the club will do the rest! You will always have a 'right down the middle' shot! I loved it so much I had to get the 3 wood. Thinking about getting the 5 wood too.Read full review
Very forgiving, long driver. Reviews tend to taut 10-15 yards added distance, and I would agree. Best part is that you can have the distance, or maintain current distance with an easier, more controlled swing. Great for increasing position in the fairway. Found that it is easy to work the ball either direction, and does not either over-hook or over slice the ball when trying to work it. I have not found the tone at ball-strike to be distracting (the only complaint I had seen about the driver)... great addition to the bag!
I am disabled and need a club that is adjustable. This 9.5 is adjustable, however, its not loft but flight characteristics. So after one round, i sold this club back out on e bay and went back to my 10.5 degree taylor fast light driver. I also didnt like the white club...it both glares as you address the ball and marks easily if you hit a skyball. The feel as you hit the ball it too soft with little feedback. I would not recommend this club to the high handicap, slow head speed player. I purchased this club to match my rbz irions, which i consider to be the best irons i ever have played. Wonderful, but i would not recommend any of the rbz woods.
