Taylor makes exceptional instruments. This is the lower end of the dreadnought family, but it sounds as good as the more expense models. Treble is bright, midtones are clear and the bass gives a wonderful low end with clarity. It is easy on your fingers, too.

I am a Martin guy. But needed some variety for a cd we are making. This is an outstanding playing guitar- almost like an electric. Action was perfect Tone is a little mid heavy for me but pleasant. I will say this sounds almost as good as my partners 710 Taylor and handles just as well Wonderful neck Just doesnt have the soul of a Martin- but that just me. This guitar is an amazing value

I was looking for a Taylor for a long time, but finding one in great conditions under $1,000 is not easy. Specially because I was looking for one made in the US. Normally you will see that 100's ans 200's are made in Mexico, and they are not bad at all. I have tried from 110 to 814 and difference is a matter of taste. I'll never argue with a guitar player that will tell me his $5,000 guitar is better than my new 110, because craftsmanship wise he (she) will be right. But, if you are looking for the best acoustic guitar ever design and the touch of that master friends call Bob, then you can't go wrong with this guitar. That in between sound, not dark as a Gibson, but neither as bright as a Martin, this is for you. If you have the money to spend a couple of thousands on an acoustic guitar, be my guest. It will be good for showing to friends and fellow musicians, but with the same sound and appearance on stage as my Taylor 110e.Read full review
i LOVE tAYLOR GUITAR THEY ALL SOUNDS GOOD. ONE THING I DIDDNT KNOW IS THE DAMAGED ON THE FRET. CONSIDERING HOW OLD IS THE GUITAR? IF ITS 5 YEARS, IT DEPENDS ON HOW MANY HOURS A DAY THEY ARE USING THE GUITAR. THERE ARE 5 YEAR OLD GUITAR THATS BEEN USED FOR 1 OR TWICE A MONTH, RATHER THAN 5 YEARS WHERE GUITAR HAS BEEN USED ALMOST 24 HOURS A DAY. ON MY CASE, I DIDNT KNOW HOW OLD IS THE GUITAR? THE DAMAGED I'VE SEEN IS ON THE BODY, BUT I DONT KNOW, I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE DAMAGED ON THE FRETS, INDICATING THE OWNER REALLY HAVE FUN WITH THE GUITAR, BEFORE I BOUGHT. BUT STILL I WNT TO KEEP THE GUITAR, ITS MY FIRST TAYLOR GUITAR.
Great Sound I love it
