This is one of the best cowbell holders I've owned over the past 40 years! I attaches to the rim easily and stays in place without damaging the bass drum rim and the L-arm is long enough to put the cowbell and other items like LP Jam Blocks in a position where the work together and out of the way of toms and snare drum. Real Tama quality at a great price! I already had one on my drums and this one was for my nephew! I'm starting him out with good equipment!

This is the one you want because of it's solid grip to the bass drum hoop. I do advise drilling the 3/8 bell clamp hole to 10 mm for a more sturdy L bar cowbell holder though. When done you have a forever reliable holder that won't slip or break like that ripoff DW bass drum claw holder does.

It clamps up tight doesn't come loose .it's the perfect height. You can adjust in different angles. I've had other brand cowbell holder and they were junk. This Tama is the shiznit..I'm buying another one for my other bass drum, and one for my kid's kit..

traditionally, a cowbell holder was a fixed bar . this holder can move forward towards the player. ( using a 'L' bar instead of a fixed position) this is huge for taller drummers especially . Im not tall , but find the holder extremely helpful when 2 toms mounted on bass drum . thank you Tama !!!

The price and it is very solidly built, a lot of times you see a picture of an item and it looks good. Then you get it and it’s flimsy and cheap construction. The clamp is strong, yet easily adjustable
