There are a number of excellent performances in this film. Oscar (Aaron Stanford) is an atypical 15-year-old searching for the perfect, older woman. He thinks he's found her in the character of his stepmother (Sigourney Weaver). His father (John Ritter) and his stepmother have been fighting, so he thinks that the holiday break from boarding school is the perfect time to make his move. However, after a drinking binge, he ends up in bed with his stepmother's close friend (Bebe Neuwirth). A comedic, Oedipal tale of lust, love and family - and the realization that coming-of-age is sometimes overrated.
I love this movie. Great plot, characters, and storyline. Sigourney Weaver, John Ritter, Bebe Neuwirth and Aaron Stanford were all fantastic in it! Definitely a must see!
