I got this feeder for tanagers and buntings unfortunately the holes aren't big enough for the cardinals to get in. I wanted it to let cardinals and smaller birds in, and only the smaller birds are getting in to it. Not good for my purposes, and it was a little pricey. It is well made and solid, but was difficult to open, and it didn't have any real directions to speak. I had to look up online how to open it without breaking it. I'm going to replace it because it doesn't fit my needs, but it does keep the bigger blackbirds and squirrels out. So it's good, and well made to feed sparrows and smaller birds. I also don't like the angled holes, they look pretty, but the birds had a hard time figuring it out.

A good deal if bought below $30. Not a huge reserve so you will need to fill it every day or 2. Squirrels can't get at the seed but they do try...
