I remember watching Cisco and Pancho, in the early 50's and enjoying every, minute of it! He was the protector of early California, and one of the first Mexican American actors to hit it big. Duncan Renaldo as the Cisco Kid and Leo Carrillo as his sidekick, Pancho were favorites of most of us in the Saturday afternoon matinee crowd who anxiously collected our bread wrappers or box tops to watch the serials free. Those were the good old days and Cisco provided real, clean, genuine entertainment. This collection does the series justice. Well done, in black and white, of course; but still interesting and a real treat for my old eyes to watch again and remember my childhood. He was the precursor to Zorro; but played the part as if he really lived it, without the asinine cliche's that filled later productions.Read full review

Good DVD...continually watch it over and over again... Takes me back to my childhood... Love the chemistry between Cisco & Pancho...especially at the end of many episodes when they say, "Oh Cisco, Oh Pancho"... It's interesting to see many of the characters return in other episodes of the series...especially Tom Tyler as sheriff... These episodes represent a more subdued lifestyle in the 1950's... I always become upset when I think of the opportunity to personally meet Duncan Renaldo and Leo Carrillo at a Shriner Circus in Pittsburgh, Pa. during the late 1950's...(instead I went out to play baseball)...
I was when a young when,watching Cisco
