I bought this for two reasons, its just too hot to grill steaks outside (in Florida) but love them grilled and this is perfect. The second reason is I'm going to visit family leaving husband to fend for himself. This, with the defrost mode will be great for him when he will undoubtedly forgets to get something out for dinner before heading off to work. Cleanup - dead easy The "quick guide" and cookbook are great to get you started. Make yourself a grilled cheese sandwich and munch on that while you read the cookbook and manual and you shouldn't have any issues :)

Honestly, the TFAL Otpigril has changed my life! I am NOT a cook and avoided the kitchen when it comes to cooking. Now with this wonderful product, I'm cooking on it at least once a day and very often twice. It's just so easy to use and what's really appreciated is how easy it is to CLEAN! This a must have kitchen appliance!!!! It is easy to operate but you have to read the instruction. The clean up is also easy. Just remove the plates and stick them in the dishwasher. You could even wipe them clean with a dish cloth it so non- stick. It's great for 2 person dinner. It is a little hard to store if you have limited storage. But not a problem for me.
