The Big John folding lock-back from Rite Edge was of higher quality than I'd anticipated. It will fall somewhat short compared to a similar styled Buck, Case or Puma. The spring and blade are fit well into the handles. At first, the blade movement was very stiff with absolutely no side-to-side wiggle room. After a little break-in, it does have play now, but flips open nicely. The reddish-brown wood has a nice, tiger-eye-like look and smooth feel. It is a decent weighted item which feels good in the hand. The grind that the knife comes with is very sharp. It will shave, but barely. The blade does have the Rite Edge stamp at the base, with the word Stainless on the other side of the base. Opposite and back from the nail-notch, it has China. The sheath is rather durable and quite suitable for carrying on the belt. The inner part of the snap will possibly scratch the bolsters. This was discovered when trying a different style of knife. It has plenty of room for the knife. Someone with craft skills may find a way to attach felt on the inside. I would suggest this knife for anyone wanting a cheap hunting/skinning knife. It would be a good camping knife for cutting purposes ONLY. For the price - it could easily be replaced if damaged, lost or stolen. There is a very good chance it'll be purchased again very soon as a backup/spare.Read full review

It's a good solid pocket folding knife. I would buy another one for sure.
