Over all I like this vacuum head. My old one fell apart due to age and I needed a replacement fast was fighting the third algae bloom of the season. Anyway when it arrived I looked at it closely comparing it to my many years old one. It has nice wide wheels which made it easier to handle and keep straight while heading to the deep end of the pool. It sits at the perfect height to pull leaves and stull have a strong suction to pull dead algae that's settled. The head is flexible enough to get in corners and narrow steps. The only problem I personally have is the plastic mount. To me it seems like a possible weak point in the future and I had to clean up the holes where the swivel pin slid through because a couple of times the head stuck in a position when It would transition from the walls to the floor of the pool. The mount on my old one is aluminum and will fit the new head when needed so it's not an issue. I would buy this one again if I had to overall it's a nice piece.Read full review

As the title states.. the quality is ok but the design is challenged as it is too light - compared to my prior vacuum head that lasted 10 years. This product really needs more weight to keep in on the bottom and sides (especially). My old was a breeze to use.. this one you really need to work to keep it tight to the bottom and side. Spend more for one that is heavier... you will be glad you did.

The cheap plastic one that came with my pool finally snapped off the pole and I wanted one with weights and wheels. This one works great. The handle for it is larger but a 1" PVC pipe fits it perfect. So I drilled a hole for the lock to snap into and It works great, gliding effortlessly along the bottom. One thing, you will have to install the handle and spring and it's a little tricky, but not impossible.

Great product and much easier and faster to use than a brush attachment when cleaning up already loose debris on the bottom of the pool. The only thing in need of improvement is when rolling down the sloped side of my concrete pool deep end, the front end/wheels lift off of the concrete causing the hose to loose contact with the concrete surface. More weight on the front end on the attachment would correct this problem. Pushing down harder on the poll does not cause the front end of the attachment to go back down onto the concrete.

You have to put the spring in. Why the company doesn't send it assembled is beyond me. No instructions either. Pain in the ass. Took me 1/2 an hour. I might post a video on how to get it in . Really, looks simple bit very hard to do,there is a trick to it. Works ok though.
