A lot of compute power in a small package
These servers are not deep so they are not meant for data storage. They do however pack a lot of compute power. They come with dual quad-core CPUs with 24 GB RAM. I bought mine to run KVM hosted VMs. These servers come with an empty PCIE expansion slot. I added a quad-port Gbe ethernet card so my VMs can use block-storage via iSCSI with trunked ethernet links.
