I am sick of buying high dollar modular PC power supplies from the likes of Seasonic or Corsair only to have them go tango union 6 months after purchase. My experience with SuperMicro is that these work for at least 6 or 7 years, and then the give indicators like failing to start on power up when they finally do fail. I wish they were modular and extra cables can be a pain to tuck away, but I would not trade that for reliability. They are essential if you have any of the SM chassis or server cases due the proprietary mounting tabs.

It is very quiet even for office work, and multi core processing (16 cores, 32 threads) with 2 Quadros 4000 in SLI are no match for it. It has enough connectors for almost every mainboard. Really a good price/performance ratio.
