This diet is so basic: fruit smoothies, soups, salads, and a bit of cooked veggies and meat if you want it. There are pages and pages of 100-150 calorie snacks to choose from.. I put the daily menus on 3x5 cards and stayed focused. I did this for 28 days and lost 14 pounds. FYI; I am 70 years old, and I didn't exercise; I was saving that for the next 28-day period. I didn't gain back the lost weight. This is how I want to eat. It's perfect for controlling blood pressure, inflammation and cholesterol.

I finally decided to lose weight and was looking for a kick-start program and found the Super Shred Diet was clearly laid out and easy to follow for 30-days. I lost 25-lbs in 4-weeks and feel great about it! The diet made sense to me in that you confuse your body by eating varied amounts of food with eating schedules that change week-by-week. It's similar to cross training in that your body doesn't know when the next meal is and what it will be and doesn't have a chance to adapt to conserve calories. I was almost never hungry and it seemed like I was eating all of the time. There are lots of choices for meals and snacks, so you never get bored. Four other members of my family have joined in and are getting good results also. Just remember, keep trying, don't be too hard on yourself if you slip a little, and enjoy getting more and more fit each day!
