Can not really complain. Good phone. My only regret that I thought 6 inch is best for me. I would actually consider going down to a 5 inch screen size for practical reasons. The slim form factor looks great, but also makes it harder to hold a grip of the phone in your hand, Struggles with keeping the phone in place in the hands free phone holder. The BLU Advance 4.0 variant A270a is a nice phone, but I went greedy on a larger screen. If you always carry your phone in a handbag then 6 inch size is manageable. Battery was down to 2% or lower when I opened the box. Not sure if that is a good thing with a LiPo battery. Phone seems to hold charge reasonable well during 1st week of use.

When I got my new phone, I thought it was great. After using it for a couple of weeks, a notification from BLU appeared on my screen and said it needed to update BLU programing. I hit allow, it started the download and that was the end of my new phone. It locked up on the prompt to reboot for the download and now I can't even get it to turn on. So, what do I say? Great phone, completely screwed up by a Blu update . Now I have to see if I can return it.

As a fan of big screen phones, this phone is excellent. It is a great 6 inch phone for people that want to see if a bigger screen is for them. Cheap and reliable. My idle battery life was about 12 hours~ on a single charge but heavy use drains it quick so bring a charger with you if you plan on gaming on it during your outing. The glossy back looks good brand new but gets smudges from fingerprints very easily on the black. It isn't heavy with bloatware. Actually pretty empty. The speaker is the best but it get job done but I use phones mostly anyway so it didn't affect me much. My biggest issue is the location of the USB port, the top of the phone. I find it inconvenient when I am trying to use the phone while it is charging. Using headphones takes this problem away but why be so different? Using a mount is out of the question. One other issue other people might have an issue with would be the built-in battery. I have no opinion on that part of the phone. As long as it gets the job done I don't mind. I am the type to carry a charger over an extra battery anyway, too much hassle without a dedicated charging station for the battery. Overall, it is a phone for people on a budget or just anyone that likes big phones without killing their wallets. I hope this helps!Read full review

I made the mistake of purchasing this phone 3 weeks after release in Dec '14 before all the initial bugs were worked out. have not had the time to replace under 2 year warranty that i purchased along with phone. Biggest issue is Apps force close frequently and Camera software is not programmed properly. It will Not save pics taken with camera, all i get is a blank Grey Screen. Breed is NOT cooperative with me at all about warranty replacement.

Phone is ok, but the wireless feature is annoying, everytime you drive in an area the phone goes off like you are receiving a text message. The company wants to upgrade the wireless, but you never have enough room on your phone even when you have deleted every app that you have downloaded. Volume is horrible when talking on the phone and have the phone on speaker is even worse. The battery life is pretty good and it has lots of ringtones. I also hate the fact that it has no notification lights for missed calls or texts
