This guitar is cheap. Do not expect it to play like a usa made guitar. With that being said, it can be made into a pretty decent playing guitar. I got the pink one. The paint job was pretty good, just one or two spots that arent perfect but they are hard to spot if your not searching for them. The frets are actually decent, they came polished and the ends are just a tad sharp. Might want to file them or just leave them be, no big deal. The tuners are ok, but an upgrade to these is the first thing you probably want to do to the guitar. As for the pickups, they are pretty decent for $99 guitar. Like all strat single coil pickups, they hum a little bit, but nothing too bad for a guitar of this price. Again, one might want to upgrade the pickups to something even a little better. Strings are junk. Toss them away and put some real brand name strings on her asap. Bridge and trem seem solid, no complaints there. To sum it up, the body and neck are worth the $99 alone. I plan on replacing the tuners, pickups, and maybe the trem block and bridge on mine. And maybe fiddle around with the neck and frets. Overall, a good deal on a cheap strat.Read full review
Ok let's get this straight: this is by no means a high end guitar and it does not act like one, it does not have the sound, playability or quality of a high end axe BUT it is the best guitar for this price you will ever find. It plays pretty good, and it sounds ok but I wish it sounded a bit more mellow. The paint chips very easily. It will stay in tune for a day or 2 before needing to be tuned again (the tuning machines are NOT adjustable). Amazingly, the tremelo does not seem to throw the axe out of tune. This guitar is great for practice, it's not for performance and nobody would want to have to use it for that but one time I did since my $600 guitar had like 3 strings break right before I had to go and play, so it was fortunate I had this one along. I use this guitar for taking places I would not want to bring a high end one so I can practice anywhere. It is quite solid and very reliable, so it makes a great practice or emergency back-up guitar. I recommend it to people looking for a great budget axe or people who want a cheap second guitar that they don't have to worry about to the point of having a heart attack if it got stolen. I know I make it sound kind of bad but I've tried out so many cheap guitars and quite honestly Squier's guitars are the best budget priced guitars out there and they're not too bad. Much as I didn't like to have to use this guitar at one of my performances, I knew I could depend on it to get the job done even though it doesn't have the perfect tone. It is however so close to guitar that could respectably be used in a gig it's not even funny. It makes me think one could do such with a $200 Squier. These guitars are what make the budget guitar world go 'round, and for good reason: they are well worth the price, they will surprise you considering you paid less than $200 and you can use them in a gig if necessary.Read full review
I always thought i couldnt play or was too old to even start to play a guitar! So i thought what the heck. I did know that a stratacastar was very popular but didnt want to spend that kind of money just to play around so i bought this one, and of course i cant tell the difference between the two. So far i havent thrown it out the door. Its fun to mess with. Im pleased with it.

Better then expected, Will make a great beginner guitar or just a beat around guitar. Finish and Fit is good and with proper setup, very promising! Playable right out of the box, I recommend changing strings for better sound and feel.

This Bullet came in a well protected package and on the day specified for delivery. I originally purchased this guitar as a possible complete mod and re make. However, the construction and fit of the components was dead on. I found no flaws in the finish or basic alignment. After some new Slinky strings and a tune, I plugged it into my Behringer 1200h 3/4 stack and was very pleased with the initial sound. I re-set the pickup heights to my preferences and WOW! this thing came alive. I have had other Strats..A standard and a HH and let me tell you, this one is better made than either of those. I would definitely give this product a positive recommendation for anyone looking for an inexpensive, quality made Bullet Stratocaster.
