My XDS is my EDC gun. It came with 2- 5 round mags . I did find 7 round mags and bought 2. BUT. when I saw these 9 round mags I was elated. I bought 2 of these as well. Having 10 rounds (with one in the pipe) made me love the XDS even more. Well worth the price. Any XDS owner should get one or two .

I thought I would give promag brand another chance. Over twenty five years of periodically gambling on their products it's always a crap shoot. Rarely do they perform up to standards. Bad luck again with these. I've already purchased factory seven round mags for more money after the bad Jamming experience. One less round and more money is OK by me as long as it functions properly. I will not be curios again or looking for another bargain when it comes to my concealed carry. My life is too important.

I only put about 100 rounds through these mags. The first 50 did great, the second 50 had some trouble. Each mag jammed multiple times, mainly because of the mag double feeding rounds into the chamber. I guess 100 rounds aren't enough to break these mags in, so I won't give a completely negative review. I will say though, I would not call these mags reliable for a self defense situation. They're only good for range shooting.

It will not seat/lock in with both of the spacers as shown (just a tad too long). It can probably be shaved off with a dremel tool. If you take the second spacer off it will lock into place, but you will see the actual magazine with about an inch of visible steel from the magazine.

The mag would not lock in to the gun I had to take it apart and file the plastic at least a quarter inch before it would lock in. The good thing is it is supposed to hold 8 but I've got nine in it.
