I was looking for a stainless mag for my Remington R1S to match the 2 that came with it. This one comes close enough (the factory Remingtons are branded on the floorplate) and was a good price. It fits and feeds fine and seems to be of good quality. It's nothing fancy, but it does what it's supposed to and it doesn't look cheap. No cons that I can think of. If I needed more, I'd probably get these as I know they work well.

The magazine is made out of stainless steel, it is the same quality as the mag that came with my 1911 with .45acp stamped in the side. It also has the right follower so you get slide hold open on the last round.

Please read the post carefully. This is not a blued magazine like you see in the picture, and it is not made by Springfield Armory. This is an after market stainless steel magazine with flat follower that works great with my 30 year old Springfield M1911.

Mags are as nice as the ones I received with my new S.A. Champion Lightweight Operator. Only one concern... Mags were showing a little surface oxidation. I rubbed them hard with Break Free and it cleaned up nicely. The two in the middle are the ones described. Per U.S. Army... Clean your weapon and your mags...
