Spice World is, for lack of better terminology, great. Depicting a "day in the life of the Spice Girls" this film showcases the group at the height of their international popularity. The film centers around the Spice Girls preparing for their first live show at London's Royal Albert Hall. Along the way (traveling in a Spice Girl-themed double-decker bus no less) we see them perform, rehearse, film a documentary, party, stay a night at a haunted castle, and meet up with a group of aliens who happen to be Spice Girl fans, among quite a few other fun adventures. Along with several of the Spice Girls biggest hits the movie also boasts cameos and roles from Elton John, Jennifer Saunders, Barry Humphries, Alan Cumming and Meat Loaf, among others. This DVD is not necessarily loaded with extras but it is worth purchasing. If you are a Spice Girls fan there's a great chance you already own a copy, but for those of you who do not have it, it's definately worth buying.Read full review
First saw this movie back when I was a bit younger and enjoyed it very much. Being a fan of the Spice Girls back then, it was only a given that I was going to see this movie. Watching it now, it's not AS good was it was back then (growing out of it), but its still enjoyable. The storyline wasn't anything Oscar worthy, but for anyone a fan of the Spice Girls it was good enough! They tell how they came together as a band, which is pretty interesting to see how it all started. It follows the same formula as most movies, they come to a problem and they all begin to hate each other, but in the end they become closer friends than ever before. Its something we've all seen a million times. The music of course was mostly Spice Girls, that was a given! My favorite part was when they are in the club and its playing a club mix of "Who Do You Think You Are". When I first heard that mix I HAD to find that remix (this was just before the days of Napster), I was in luck when I found the CD single with that specific remix on there. Overall if you are a fan of the Spice Girls then you won't find this movie that bad, if not then you might want to avoid this. Spice Girls fans should have this in your collection to make any collection complete!Read full review
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. Her older sisters love this movie when it first came out and we had it on VHS. I personaly don't care for the Spice Girls but all 3 of my girls LOVE them. The only part in this video I have a problem with is, there is one song where their backup dancers turn their backs to the camera and the "seat" is cut out of their pants. You see their bare bums. I think they could have done without that. I think there is one other part my gils always forward through but I can't recall right off hand. Other than that I would say it is pretty good.
Absolutely love this movie, grew up watching it as a kid. Item was brand new as described. Thanks!

For the high price of a DVD, shipping could have been a bit better. Got it 4 days later. Wouldn’t care if it wasn’t Xmas eve it was supposed to ship. I get it though. Product was just fine.
