I had used Spelling Through Phonics many years ago, and the book got lost through several moves. I purchased this for use with struggling readers, and their confidence and skills in spelling started increasing after a few weeks. I pull students out of class, and only see them for a couple sessions each week, but they love it, and I love the progress they are making.

I bought this book to help me with my spelling through phonics. The title of this book is misleading, "Spelling through phonics". The book is designed (and written) by a 1st grade through 3rd grade teacher, for teachers. It tells teachers how to teach children to spell. I have no use/need for this book! jimmie r. hutcherson
