The MZC-88 and MZC-66 still is amazing technology for home audio and video integration. The units are hard to find in working order, and this is because people keep using them for as long as they can until something breaks, and then they find a good working replacement, or they spend the money to move to newer technology. What makes them good value? The interesting part is they can be updated to mate with newer tech, fairly economically, like HDMI distribution or other audio controllers/devices/servers through the RS-232C interface. The ERS module can be found for a few hundred dollars, which provides a local web interface for full house zone and input control. While normally the MZC needs a keypad (MKP or Mode 3.1) for each zone, the ERS module can be installed making the MZC WIFI, replacing or enhancing the keypad experience. The capability of the MZC, when compared to fully wireless technology, is still very adaptable, and very economical. Start adding up the costs of an entire new installation of Sonos, and compare that to the MZC installations. The MZC is just a fraction of the cost, yet more powerful and capable. The trick to keeping the MZC's running a good long time? Add a cheap batter back up supply to condition the power, and if it has no cooling fan built in...get one.Read full review

Just had an Omaha, Ne. electronic company "Atomic Alarm" at my house to program the Amp. and they indicated it was not operable. Request my money back.
