For those of you who have never seen the movie "Foxfire", I need to tell you it's worth checking out. The same holds true for the soundtrack, which I recommend highly. Featuring The Cramps, L7, and Candlebox, the CD has a good mix of angst and good old grunge-rock. In 1994, when this CD was released, America was in the midst of a music revolution-suddenly grunge and alternative were mainstream, and all the kids that didn't fit in were suddenly the cool kids. This CD is a strong representation of the dynamics of that time-a blend of sadness {"You"} and rebellion {"Trouble", with the catchy refrain "Uh-oh, we're in trouble, something's come along and it's burst our bubble"}. When asked what the music scene of the 90's was like, I would not hesitate to use this soundtrack as a prime example!Read full review
