The main power switch was broken. I had to by a universal remote to turn it on. Other functions like the setup is only addressable by the remote. It took hours to navigate through the remote to set up all the sound levels and functions. All the HDMI inputs are not functionable.

This is a nice home theater receiver for what it costs. It has many of the features only found on higher end units. It's easy to use from the front of the unit, or from the remote. It is large, but most of them are any more. My one complaint is that when you are using an HDMI device, you cannot use the HDMI cable only, you have to use a separate cable for sound. Part of the reason I bought it was so I could use HDMI because I already had the cable (since they are expensive). But I had to buy an additional expensive cable to use HDMI.
Easy to use is loud over all good system. the only down fall is that when I received the item it was not well pack up and to of the clips in the receiver where you connect the center and side speaker was broken, and on one of the small speaker clip was broken as well.

We have been very pleased with this receiver. We bought it while upgrading our home theater system. I'm no expert on audio equipment, but this has more than enough hook ups for all our components, is easy to operate and sounds great. I was a little concerned that this was a refurbished model, but it looks brand new and works perfectly so far (we've had it about a month).
