I went from a S.E. Satio to an android. I gave up the 12MP for the Apps. One thing about Apps is you have to look a lot for good ones. A good App for someone else does not mean it will be good for you. A lot of apps DON'T measure up to what they say. Some do. I use my OEM battery for quick trips for for at home because the life of the battery is short. I like to use my phone for a lot of practical uses. If your gone a lot get rid of the battery it came with and buy a Extended battery, the HIGHEST MAh battery you can get. It will come with a cover. Make sure each battery comes with a cover and when you change the battery also switch out the cover. It will be a great investment. I suggest getting a t lest 3 to 5 of them. Then you can cycle them for last ability. I myself don't pay anyone for service. I use a app for free calling and texting. I do buy apps sometimes. I bought my cell so I own it, no contract/monthly. It is also better to get this phone unlocked or get it unlocked. A big plus is W---FI. Everyone is giving that service for free. Most have internet at home but if you keep this on there should be free Fi most areas you just have to get used to it. A family member has the I phone and hasn't paid any carrier since they got the I phone. However, If you have to talk a lot to other people then pay someone else. I do wish it could be use with a stylus. I miss that(cleaning the screen a lot). I have had many different models and this one is one of the best.Read full review
Awesome phone. Looks just beautiful, the white one especially. It's pretty easy to use, lots of features, very big screen, clear sound. The only problem is short battery life. It has to be charged every day and sometimes a couple of times a day if heavy use (during travelling for instance)
Bought this phone for my daughter as a replacement for an older model Virgin Mobile phone..she is impressed overall with the phone-other than the fact that the first battery was defunct when the phone arrived and we had to request another..easy to use, sleek with big screen..
I love this smartphone. I just have a bad experience because what reached my hands are locked to a T-Mobile network and no unlocking code was generated for me that I had to send it back from where I bought it and was refunded. I would have loved to keep it because it has everything that I wanted in a smartphone, Wifi works really great, and screen is crystal-clear. Now I am afraid to try any Sony Ericsson product again for fear that they might be locked as what I've experienced.
The phone looks nice and is fairly easy to use. However, the battery that was send with it was not good. I just had to order a new one. The battery is swollen and a whole night charge won't even last for an hour. Beside, the charger that was sent with the phone does not work with the phone unless I hold the connection together. Overall, I'm spending much more than I planned to on this phone, and I could have gotten a better one at that price.
