works well but still need more info when you connect it to an apple product (you'll have to do some online research as i did) the design is overly long sticks out quite a bit thus it can be snapped off if your not careful that all aside it does work very well for using a PS4 wireless controller with pc or apple its responsive an has good range

Dont waste your money if your trying to use a ps4 controller on pc even with sensitivity turned up to 100% your move super slow buy a xbox1 controller and dongle. Xbox 1 controller with sensitivity turned to 10% is still faster response time than the ps4 at 100% plus no matter what you do some games at least the ones i play steam would not change the mapping to ps4. The controller works just slow and you still see xbox symbols in game. I use windows 10 if that matters but other than it does work just not nearly as good as xbox 1 controller. Oh yeah i use wireless turrle beach headset and the ps4 dongle was interfering with mic i assume because ps4 controller has a speaker in it

Most of the games that I use a DualShock 4 with actually recognize it via Bluetooth straight through the PC. Turns out this is basically only useful for playing Remoteplay. It also only supports one controller per adapter, which is silly. It also, also is gigantic. You could shove the brains of an entire cellphone in this thing. It must have been a terribly misguided aesthetic design choice to make this thing so huge cause there's no way it needs that much space.

This adapter is meant to serve as a wireless way to connect your PS4 controller to your PC to use PS Now. If that's your use, it's great. Amazing. It gives you the controller, it connects better via bluetooth via this peripheral than your standard bluetooth adapter, it's smoother, and maintains a steady connection without the more typical ups and downs of bluetooth. It also adds a headphone adapter to your Windows that you can use through the controller's headphone port. All great, right? The problem is the adapter does not include a driver for Xbox 360 compatibility with Windows, which means most games won't work with it (unless using Steam's built-in PS4 controller driver). You can download third party software like Inputmapper to make the PS4 controller compatible with X360 configurations to make (nearly) all games work with it, but here's one of those comedy of errors. Microsoft broke bluetooth controller compatibility with their latest (Anniversary Edition) updates to Windows 10. As a result, no bluetooth controller will get "Exclusive Mode" when connecting to Windows 10. This results in the system seeing two controllers (the PS4 and the X360 controller) simultaneously. This causes a whole host of problems. Anyway, the point is if you want a seamless experience without finagling or handwringing, you should buy yourself an Xbox One wireless adapter. It's a LOT easier to deal with. If you want to use your PS4 controller and are fine using Inputmapper and counting on Microsoft not to keep breaking bluetooth controller compatibility, then use this. If you simply want to run PS Now with a PS4 controller wirelessly, then this is absolutely recommended, too. Just know what you're getting into.Read full review

With this connected to my computer, and my computer connected to my TV no more than 5 feet away it had problems remaining connected. I had to have a USB extension cord plugged in to bring the adapter closer!
