Sony builds a solid CD player. I purchased mine brand new probably around 1992. I have to say it still works great and sounds great. I really enjoy the random shuffle feature which will randomly play a different song in no specific order from each disc. It really mixes up the music nicely. It also has a digital signal processor feature which allows you to Change the sound to Hall, Stadium, Disco, Jazz club, or Church. It adds depth and a little reverb affect. I think it probably was around $200 or more new. If you can pick one up used, it’s a great CD player with cool features and effects and now they’re reasonably priced used.
