Pricey for what you get!
Kind of deceiving pictures with measurements. This pump isn’t just small its tiny. The measurements of the pump itself are actually 2 1/2 inches x 1 1/2”. Now that’s small. This doesn’t include the exit and intake ports where the hoses attach. Even including those it’s far short of 4” and is about 2” wide if you include the mounting plate. Quality looks ok, dependability is yet to be determined. It’s nice they include clamps, brass connectors with washers, and Teflon tape. I only recommend this pump if your looking for tiny! But how does it work?
I think it's awesome that it is so small, and it seems like good quality for the price. However, there are no instructions and I haven't been able to get it to circulate water yet. I'm probably not doing something, which is frustrating. I have tubes hooked up to the pump and a bucket of water. It turns on, but there is no water circulation. Am I supposed to prime it somehow?

Small but reliable pump.
Used a 24V one with continuous service for more than 2years (was still running when it was disconnected) for recirculating aquarium water. The pump body can get hot -120F is normal. My water temp at 75C was probably a factor in not overheating the pump. Adding a heat sink to the pump motor body would probably help prolong the pump life. Pump temperature is dependent on the amps running through it.
