This was Robert Palmer at his best before he went "Pop" with all the Crush Groove stuff like Addicted To Love ,etc. It is pure R&B with Lowell George as a contributing artist. I had an old cassette recorded from the radio in the early 70's & was so pleased to find it had been reissued in CD format (probably after he died). Try it , you'll like it !!
The CD I bought is in great shape for being used. I haven't listened to the whole album for ~30 years, when I had it on cassette tape. Good memories!

Robert Palmer died at an early age, but left behind quite a collection of fine music.

This is a vintage album, one of Robert Palmer's first. The CD starts with a Lowell George (from Little Feat) classic, Sailin' Shoes. It's a very funky version that ROCKS. I bought the CD for this version of Sailin' Shoes and now I've fell in love with the other songs. If you like the funky sound of 70's rock and roll, you'll love this album. I give this album two thumbs up.
