Well-organized, good explanation of the concept (cook 2 meals at once, save time, recommended slow-cookers and other products to use, etc.) Although I have not tried any recipes yet, they appear uncomplicated, tasty, and with fresh ingredients. All meats, all entrees. You cook two recipes simultaneously and they will feature the same meat. One entree for right now, the other for later in the week or to freeze. I have only two wishes which are not complaints: that the author would do an update or a new cookbook with more recipes. Also, that the book was available as a Kindle version. That being said, I think you could easily find other recipes to use, or get creative. No regrets in buying this book!

This is an excellent gourmet slow cooker cookbook! It takes slow cooking to an elevated level. It is the ideal book for busy professionals that don’t have time for cooking. The recipes are set up in an A and B fashion so that you are cooking in 2 bags, one to eat now and one to eat later in the week. You are using the same protein but with different spices and vegetables. This book is for couples that really know good food! My son-in-law endorses it and he is from New Orleans, need I say more!
