What I like about this book that for the person looking into Six Sigma it gives the reader the information on the history of the devlopment by the creators of Six Sigma, so far I have read a few chapters, and its not a boring book. I found it easy to read and have bought it primarly to get aquainted with Six Sigma from my start in college there was a small amount of information to management styles, and Six Sigma was discussed, but not alot. I'm looking more into it being my employer(s) are using Six Sigma to define a much better process, and for me to study for the certifications. Great Book and NO cons.
I first heard of six sigma from someone in the hospitality industry. Since I highly respect the way he manages things I bought the book. I understand a much better way of doing things. in a nutshell it blows the old saying "practice makes perfect" and blows it out of the water. basically better methods and techniques lead to better outcomes.
It's a good resource to learn about Six Sigma. Am just starting to read it. So far it's interesting.
