I got my copy the other day from Beach Camera in NJ. They shipped it very quickly. The lens was new as listed and worked like it's suppose to right out of the box. I was able to take it to the Syracuse Nationals over the weekend and was very pleased with the results. On the Olympus 4/3 system the field of view is like having a 20-40mm lens on a 35mm frame. I was able to get almost the complete interior of the cars in the frame. The lens was sharp from corner to corner with excellent contrast. This quality held up at all f-stops. I was very impressed with the quietness of the focusing. It was also easy to switch back and forth between autofocus and manual. I had a Tiffen polarizer on it for some of the shots and was thrilled with the effect on the clear blue sky. I do not see vignetting in the skies at any focal length. I've also been shooting some sunsets at the lake and I'm impressed with the control the lense has over ghosting and flare. The 4/3 system uses the 'sweet spot' of the optics and really makes the most of it. This is my fourth Sigma lens. The second for the 4/3 system and I'm not disappointed in the least. I highly recommend this lens. I have been wanting a wide angle zoom ever since I got my camera and this was a very good deal. If there is anything I would caution anyone about is that the front element looks like it might make contact with the glass in a filter if it's not made right. It's so close someone could damage their lens as they screw on the filter. So keep an eye on that.Read full review
