In ebay's 5-star rating system I gave this product four stars...only because 5 stars was entitled "awesome sauce." "Sauce" is stupid --Hogue grips are just the opposite, and I've used them for more than 30 years. Many of my center-fire grips have non-slip stippling on the front and back of the grip. Once I'm locked into the stipplied grip, my hand/hands don't move -- essential to congtrol and consistency in sustained fire. But some "gotta have" pistols come without stippling or too-small grips. Hogue makes grips for virtually every grip and hand size in a variety of surfaces---pebbled or smooth, "straight" or with finger-grooves. I've known a lot of shooters who wished they hadn't bought a 9mm or .45 "Too much recoil." Once they have rubberized grips like Pachmeir or Hogue, they brag about their "soft shooting" new pistol.Read full review

I've been a double stack shooter my entire life - the Sig P220R is my first single stack and the narrower width of the grip just didn't feel good compared to the girth of my Beretta, CZ, and Glock pistols. I LOVE the way the Sig shoots - but not too happy with the way it fit into my hand. Then enter this grip by Hogue - who is THE name in aftermarket quality grip replacements for pistols. I have an "official" Beretta rubber grip replacement for my model 96 (40 S&W) - it even came in a Beretta branded box - fine print - "made by Hogue". This grip - a single piece wrap around - adds some thickness to the somewhat narrow grip and removes the hard - inflexible/sandpaper feel of the Sig E2 grip - which is the most uncomfortable grip I've ever held. I have to say that this Hogue grip has completely improved my shooting experience with my Sig P220R and I simply cannot recommend it enough. ONE NOTE - if you have the P220 model with the solid wrap-around plastic E2 grip - you'll need to check the frame of your P220 to make sure it has the 4 bolt-holes for a standard grip - some P220 frames with the E2 grip do not have these all important holes while others do. IF your frame does NOT have these holes - this grip won't work with your gun. IF your frame DOES have these holes - you'll need to purchase a set of Sig grip screws - I went with a custom black anodized stainless set made by a gunsmith - I found that vendor here on Ebay. :D Enjoy and safe shooting!Read full review

One of the best ways to improve your grip and your accuracy is with these Hogue grips. Perfect fit, no adjustments needed. I experienced improved shot placement the first time I tested my 45acp at the range with these grips. How did I get along without them! Definitively, one of the lowest cost, best options you have to improve shot placement and overall accuracy is the use of these grips; could be life saving in a self-defense situation.

This is the second pair I've purchased for the same gun in 12 years. Amazing quality and lasts a long time after 12 years of daily use.

Great grip and texture. It seems to make the pistol a little more wider which might make printing easier.
