i am very impressed with this little cleaner. its so light! the suction is awesome and cleans better then my full size HEAVY upright that cost almost 400.00. its easy to empty the dirt cup and i can clean a sizeable area before i have to dump it....and i have furry cats that leave hair every where. i love the wall hanger to store it on...it gets it out of the way. the bag that's enclosed is very handy for storing the attachments and hangs from the same wall mount the one thing that i do not like is that it don't stand up by itself. that is a bit of a pain when i have to put it aside to do something to the area i was cleaning....like straighten a rug...etc. i do consider this important. but for cleaning power....its better then my expensive upright. wish i had bought this instead of the bigger one !Read full review

I was cleaning cat liter on my hard floor (no carpet) and noticed it picked up some but if i let it stand in one place for to long, there would be a small pile of dirt right under it and my dust cup was empty before i started so it's not like it didn't pick up because it was clogged. It's in my closet now and wenr to using my Swivel Sweeper which I like alot better.

After having owned everything from an $89 POS that went up in flames to a $500 Dyson, the Shark Rocket is my favorite vacuum EVER. It's lightweight, portable, has headlights, comes apart for easy storage, has a super long cord, is simple to empty and does a great job of sucking up dirt and pet hair -- as long as you're vigilant about cleaning the filters. My complaint is that the motor only lasts 12-18 months with normal/light household use. I've purchased two now, after learning that the estimated cost to repair the first one was about the same as buying a new Rocket at full retail. Getting a "floor model" on eBay for under $100 made me very happy. I'll do it again in 12-18 months!

This vacuum is absolutely amazing on carpet. In my opinion it cleans as well or better than any full size upright. It's incredibly light, agile and easy to use. It's only weakness in my opinion is the filter system. The pre-engine filters get very dirty, very fast and a slight dust/dirt film starts to leak onto the external housing of the vacuum around the filter door. The filters are washable and not that expensive right from Shark, but after vacuuming, the cup and filters need to be dumped/cleaned and your hands will get dirty. The good thing as that your floors are very clean, and the head of the vacuum is the perfect width to clean our carpeted stairs.

I found that the machine has a good suction power, easily empty the container but the dirt that stick to the conner of the triangular end is difficult to clean. It cannot be removed and wash with water. At the end I did not clean that areas. The noise is also not that unbearable. the attachment is good for a quick cleaning over the chair, table ect. over all I like it. and highly recommend.
