This is a perfect companion for 'Gloria' which was their previous slice of vinyl goodness in the 1960's. BDM resonates with the fuzztone guitar and keyboard noodling that made them so irresistible during the peroid. They are a garage band to be sure, but smoked with incense and colored in psychedelic hues. Their version of 'Hey Joe' is trippy and nearly out of control, like a first voyage through the inner self, courtesy of Albert Hofman. 'Bad Little Woman' harkens to the pre-grunge bluesiness that inspired the mid-60's sound. Nothing here carries the aural impact of 'Gloria' but the disc is a thrill-ride, nevertheless. Kudos to SUNDAZED for making this available!
You made a young man very happy.
