If one desires to raise the pH of the water they are drinking, this water bottle evidently delivers. Having performed no pH testing on it for verification, I can only say "evidently". I do know, though, that I had been suffering for many weeks from severe acid reflux and frequent indigestion, and that those symptoms have all but disappeared during the past month, since I began using the water bottle. In my opinion, the bottle is over-priced. I do not know why a relatively small plastic bottle with a relatively small filter inside of it should cost as much as this one cost me. Still, buying the bottle was a lot less expensive than making an appointment to see a doctor, and paying for a monthly prescription. In hind sight, I wonder whether it may have been wiser of me to have applied the cost of the bottle to an "under the counter" water purifying system that would raise the pH of all drinking and cooking water for all members of the family. The water bottle is easily portable, and I take it with me wherever I go throughout the day, taking sips of water as desired. I appreciate that facts that the water bottle works well, without any leaking, and that it seems fairly indestructible. The capacity of the water bottle is reduced, due to the space the filter inside it takes up. So, it doesn't take very long to empty it. On the other hand, it doesn't take long to fill it at the tap, either.Read full review
