This is the show that started the now long string series on HBO. Why was the show not shown in widescreen HBO? Still, a very good season. My favorite character is Samantha. Why, for the most part she is honest tells it like it is. Yes, she does lie but it is her responses, to the point, not mincing words. Took till season 4 for her to really get a male friend Richard/her boss. Remember to send your best. AND THAT HORRIBLE, DID NOT MAKE SENSE MARIA STORYLINE? TERRIBLE. Least favorite Charlotte. Everything has to be a certain way. If a piece of gum got stuck to the bottom of a shoe she would call a cab & run into her apartment to take a shower. She thought herself so much better than others but she slept around without a thought. Then, when we get to see more of Trey & how pushy she got & look what happened. The baby obsession, TOO MUCH Kristin Davis did a great job with the character but still my least favorite of the girls. Carrie. You like her 1 minute, the next you do NOT. She is high end to but won’t cook for herself The clothes & shoes were a big deal on the show YET IN A LOT OF THESE OUTFITS HER BRA STRAPS HUNG OUT Yep, that is high class NOT Aiden, who I always liked, round 2 She treated him badly, of course the affair with Big. She felt bad but took her a long time to stop. Showed just what she felt for Aiden. Saying yes & not meaning it. Miranda She was smart but easy. Liked her views sometimes the next you did not. Steve & the baby. Like Carrie and Aiden how badly Miranda treated Steve. Over critical, demanding. I never cared for the Steve character but still Trey. Never liked the character. A lying, weak wimp. And, a Mommas boy-Bunny. Glad they ended this relationship in the show. The actress who plays Bunny sure has a long string of famous roles playing the mother. Cheers NOW WHY I HATE THESE DVD PACKAGES These horribly designed flop open cases. In information in these on episodes, no extras.Read full review
I would not have marked these as good condition considering the actual dvd holder is completely falling apart. Came in 3 pieces. I get that these cases weren’t designed great and have a tendency to break but this is awful. Can’t even keep them in that because you can’t keep them together.

This is a very funny interesting series about single women in New York and relationships/sex. You never know what is going to happen next. Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends experience the relationships/sex life of New York city. They laugh, they cry, learn new thing about themselves, and try to find love. I like this because it breaks taboos and discusses real issues 30 something women have in the dating world. The only thing that may detore you from buying it, is the amount of nudity in this show. It is not suitable to watch this with children nearby. Other than that call the girlfriends over and have fun watching, laughing, crying, and discussing what this show is about...sex! Also if you liked this you might also try "The L word" its like a lesbian sex in the city. PLEASE CLICK IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW TO BE HELPFUL OR NOT, THANKS!Read full review
