This book has nice, clear instructions on how to construct various home sewing projects, with good illustrations. The design details and fabrics are dated, as this was published in 1991; the projects definitely reflect that era. However, if you are looking for construction details, especially for slipcovers, it's very good.

I bought this book because it has detailed instructions on how to make a chair slipcover. The pictures and directions are easy to follow and I know the slipcover will turn out great. Lots of other sewing how-tos with loads of pictures to make it easier to follow directions.
Even though this is an outdated publication, history repeats itself, sooner or later. Also, I like to get techniques I may have missed in previous years.
