Overall the book offers a great look into ebay powersellers. You hear how they got started on ebay, the problems they were faced with, and how they solved those problems. As a normal ebay seller you will never face a lot of the issues these sellers did, but it still gives a fascinating look at ebay powersellers, and the issues they face, and must overcome. Probably the biggest take I have from the book - Is that you can not do it all alone. At some point employees are a must, and so are automation solutions, or listing solutions. Many of the sellers have had to create their own listing solutions, just to list the number of auctions they need to grow, and sell on ebay. Others have had to stop dead in their tracks, and reinvent their business to make it work. At best the book offers thought provoking info on what it takes to be a powerseller on ebay. Anyone who sells full time can relate to what these sellers have faced. You also see selling on ebay is not simple or easy like the get rich quick ebooks would make it out to be, It takes six or seven 12 to 16 hour days, each and every week. And, the guts to try new ideas, and overcome all of the obstacles in your path. Read it for a realistic look at what the ebay life is like.Read full review
