In attempt to eat healthier I bought this book. I have been a baker of really good desserts. This is not the book for really tasty baked goods. The recipes of cakes are not the light and fluffy ones I like. The brownies I tried were really heavy and and moist. I was ready to give up and tried the biscotti recipe. they were actually very good. That is why I gave it an average rating. If I find one recipe that I will use forever I feel the book is worth getting
this book is good My husband recently found out that he has high clorestrol, this book helps with that but yet keeps the calories down also. He loves his sweets. I would recommend this book.
This is a well researched,well laid out book that takes all the guess work out.Excellent in all catagories.Just read,learn,bake and be Healthy.
I am surprised how much I have used this book. Not only for the recipies, but for the information also. There are several sections that explain what to substitute and why.
