I'm running the SA-1230SG in an Axial Wraith (on a CC BEC at 6 volts) and it slings those heavily weighted wheels where I point them and it does it quickly. I'm running heavy beadlock (metal) wheels, weighted with lead, the large Mud slinger tires, the servo is smooth and not as loud as the Savox 0231 I use on my other trucks. This servo performs very well. Lots of torque, does hum a little, but man, it's awesome! I've had my wheels stuck against rocks and the servo powers me away, what more could I ask for. It was this or a hitec, and I've had hitec I used in planes and other trucks and they failed me 3 times! So far, Im very pleased!!!

Was told it would fit my Arrma Big rock, but it does not as it is too tall, and conflicts with the frame that the ESC is mounted on.. I tried with original servo mount, and alu mounts, also tore of some cable arrangments clips on the ESC frame, but it is not going to fit the Big Rock The servo has now moved to my drawer where it will be located until I throw it away.

This is a great servo for running in a monster truck in my opinion. It is not the fastest on the market but it is very strong and durable. I like it in my E Revo Brushless Edition. I used it for a single servo replacement, and am very happy over all. I would recommend either a glitch buster or a BEC. Servo is a little bit gitchy and jittery without one. My biggest shock was how noisy it is. I have looked into this and it turns out digital servos are noisy, this one just seems a little noisier than most. It is a good servo no complaints. The lead on the servo seems a little bit short as well, consider getting a servo wire extension.

This servo works great, plenty of power, plenty of speed. @6 volts it puts out 500 oz-in of torque! Before you buy any servo you must calculate how much torque you need. A lot of manufacturers (even the better ones) put under powered servo's in their RTR cars and trucks. They last a little while but fail eventually. When it fails, do a little research and replace with one with enough power. Savox makes great servo's of all speeds and torque ratings. If you get the right one, you can't go wrong with Savox. A little pricey but great stuff!

Savox is one of my favorite brands of servos to use in my airplanes, they’re very reliable, strong enough for 3D or any other use you have. You won’t be let down by their performance
