This book is well researched, accurate, thorough, organized and well written. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Our study group used Lippincott PN/VN to study for our Board Exams. ALL of us passed our Boards the first time; our computers shut off at the minimum number of questions (75)! Lippincott mimics the Board Exams. It includes the Alternate Format questions and a great CD w/more test questions! The Answers are in the back of the chapter, with the RATIONALES for ALL of the answers. It can be very helpful to explain why the right answer is right and why the wrong answers are wrong. I bought this as a review and study guide for my RN class. The only fact I personally dislike about the book is the answers are placed at the BACK of the chapter. I prefer having the answers more accessible (i.e. opposite page, opposite column on the same page, etc.). There is less flipping of pages. Overall, I have recommended this book along with Incredibly Easy! I believe they are the two best resource books for NCLEX review testing.Read full review

Great study guide, easy to use, great rationals. CD was very thorough. I mainly just reviewed the CD questions and passed my boards on the first try.
I found this book really helpful when studying for regular courses, especially med/surg. Its nice that the topics are divided into sections.
It seemed to have all the information needed for one to study for the Nurse's Board Exams. Had a CD with it which would help greatly, how to study for exam, questions and answers and information needed otherwise. Daughter had graduated from Nursing School and this book was recommended to study from for State Boards.
