This Sanyo SPC 3810 'Mirro' is the phone to have for someone looking for practical simplicity combined with the sharpness of an advanced phone. Great for those seeking an easier working keypad with larger keys and fonts. The functions are kept simple, but it still packs a punch and holds it's on with the more advanced phones. The display is great, rather large for a flip phone. The Mirro is easy to maneauver around. Everything goes smooth, and it's predictability set's it apart from the newest droid population. To me, this is what a cell phone should be before it had cosmetic surgery. I recommend it especially for the elderly, or for someone seeking simple, easy to handle functions. Of course, there are other things that make this phone fun, like the web, and downloads. It has the right combination that makes a standard flip phone still in the competition. It is offered by Sprint, and Boost Mobile (pre-paid.Sprint/Nextel counterparts). The phone is reasonably inexpensive considering it exceeds against some of the other average flips from the other carriers. When used with Boost, you pay for full price for it, but after I looked at the phone on the Sprint site, I see the full price being charged with a 2-yr. contract, with a mail-in rebate of $50. You still end up paying about $30. Either Boost or Sprint, this is a dependable phone with just enough features to make it great.Read full review
This phone has a great screen. easy to read text, email, and IM. A very reasonable price for a well build phone. This phone internet browser is not very fast and can not play videos, this is good for me because I don't use the internet alot and I don't need to watch videos. The main reason why i purchase the phone is because of the screen size.
My husband is a truck driver and he uses a Bluetooth ....this phone has font sizes....that you make small to extra large...,his broke and I could not find another so got another flip phone for boost and there was no option on font size....so I went to eBay to find the mirro.....the time showing on front is where your caller I'd will show up...so when he's driving he can see who's calling and Bluetooth was very easy to set up.
I bought this phone for my 84yr old father and it is easy to use and has larger buttons than my moms att similar phone. It also has easy to press speakerphone & camera, but you can't tell them to many features because old people get confused easily. It is more polished and solid looking than all other flip types except the "razor" It has a cool tiny display on front for the time & notifications. it is easy to hold and not too fat. It is a perfect phone for anyone who wants a no-nonsense phone that is more based on functionality rather than "bells 7 whistles" features. It looks cool, not cheap or old fashioned. The screen is larger and the phone number selected is highlighted in bright orange, with easy to read text. If you just enter 7digits, the selected number does'nt scroll. this unit costs slightly over $120 new on ebay, but worth it because it's a polished unit, not a cheapo model.Read full review
great phone for texting. internet is slow but is the best phone I have ever used for texting and has good battery life. would highly recomend if you are stuck with at&t and want out. if you are in a contract you can just pay at&t the amount you save with each month boost and you can keep your number if you like. and you will get less dropt calls than at&t. my at&t bill with 450 minutes and 1500 text messages ran about $66.00 a month and now that I'm with boost I pay $53 a month with taxes and my bill goes down $5.00 a month if I make 6 on time payments. I will never be a at&t man again. I just hope people read this and decide to leave at&t just because they showed me no customer appreciation
