I'm so amazed with its speed, oh my god. That's just crazy, at first I though that this couldn'be true that such old flash drive (it was realeased like 6 years ago) performed that awesome like some cheap ssd I would say. I had much newer flash drives before also 32 gb and 64 gb but they are not even close with their speed as compared with sandisk extreme. I took a test with CrystalDiskMark. Here you go: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 5.2.2 x64 (C) 2007-2017 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 222.192 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 202.053 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 12.360 MB/s [ 3017.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 11.770 MB/s [ 2873.5 IOPS] Sequential Read (T= 1) : 261.292 MB/s Sequential Write (T= 1) : 192.928 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 11.372 MB/s [ 2776.4 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 11.328 MB/s [ 2765.6 IOPS] Test : 500 MiB [G: 0.0% (0.0/58.4 GiB)] (x1) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2017/12/20 23:55:20 OS : Windows 10 Professional [10.0 Build 16299] (x64) Hope this helps!Read full review

I purchased this SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drive because it offered secure (password protected) data storage. It does, indeed, offer this, but you lose a number of standard Windows functionality when you store the data in the secure area. My intent was to store photos, tax returns, etc. This device will not allow you to preview graphical data with thumbnails. It will not allow Windows to move from image to image in the Windows Viewer. You have to close each image and open the next. You can't manipulate data by using functions such as CTRL+A. This device does not (apparently) have the data destruction feature if the incorrect password is entered too many times. At least, there is no mention of this in the instructions. This means that if it falls into the wrong hands, millions of password attempts can be made. This is vastly inferior to the Atom Imation USB drive that I've been using for years.Read full review

I love the flash drive i use it daily and it makes transfers quick and painless. It delivers its promised speeds and the plastic housing as well as retractable mechanism seems to be of high quality. One issue i have had with it is trying to install operating systems on it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so its a bit of hit and miss. Otherwise i still love my flash drive i have this drive in 32GB and 64GB.

The speed of these sticks is really great even when used in a USB 2.0 port it will still beat the speed of most USB 3.0 sticks. The reality of USB flash device is that you get what you pay for. If you spend less than $25 on a 64GB USB stick you will get a piece of garbage, which the majority of the USB's on the market are just that, slow junk that take 2 hours to upload a movie. There are faster ones out there but not by much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS USB FLASH DRIVE!

Great product. Have another and have used it specifically for movies. Rated as one of the fastest on the market. Make sure you get the 64 GB size as theses USB's get slower as the size increases.
