Samsung used to have a reputation of cheap product. They have since gone miles above what they used to be. Excellent picture for old technology(I can say the exact same for the tube TV it replaces). Very light, very compact. Very simple. The same can be said for lack of connectivity. No audio output and only one analog connection. Either Y or Red/blu/green component video. However. Well worth the money I spent on it used. Overall very satisfied with the product.

I purchased three of these TV’s last Christmas for my daughters bedrooms. In less than 5 months two has failed to power on. If you buy from Samsung be prepared. You better keep the boxes, because your going to need them when you have to pay to ship it for a warranty repair. If not you have to pay for the packing materials plus shipping, to a service center. There warranty leaves a false impression and states you are responsible for a 27 inch and below. It says they will service in home a 37 inch and above. A 28 to 36 inch is not specified. It does not however state that the consumer is responsible. Never ever will I even look at a Samsung product again in my life. Are you feeling lucky today,? Then buy one of there mass produced junk sets.
I bought this TV because it has a feature to set it to turn on and off at specific times. My old TV had that feature and I got used to using it as an alarm clock so I could wake up to TV in the morning. This one is even better because I can set the channel (my old TV would turn on to whatever channel I was watching last) and I can check which days so it won't wake me up on the weekends. It also can set more than one set of times. Picture quality is great but I can't really compare to other TVs. One thing I don't like is that it seems to just kind of sit in the stand and doesnt feel that secure if something banged into it on the side or something.
Very good deal This TV is excellent. Nice features and great picture quality. Came with a table top stand but I have it wall mounted into my dinning room. Remote is basic and simple the buttons are marked so they could be easily seen. The only one con that did not affect me that much was that it does not have A/V jacks for analog video.
Great buy for the price, really good picture especially if you are using hdmi cables and hd channels easy set up, bought this as a gift and would buy it again if needed, wall mounting was really easy, looks better wall mounted. this model does not have the smart tv where you can use netflix ect. however a digital streamer is cheap enough to add!
