I could be wrong, but I think this is the only phone that will take a 32GB micro-SD card, that you play music on, and use with Virgin's PayLo plan. The Samsung Montage media player is limited to 2998 files, or something like that. Montage will let you browse folders on the SD card, but you can't open any files from it, like you can with the M575 (Restore). Otherwise, the two phones are very similar. Annoying, in that getting into my car unlocks the phone, and can "butt-dial". On one occasion I accidentally dialed 911. Virgin Mobile dropped most support for this phone, so you are stuck with whatever games and ringtones are loaded on it. You can't download or upload anything to it. They had lots of stuff, but I guess deleted it all. Maps also no longer work. Battery will last a few days if you aren't really using it, but if I'm listening to music or podcasts for a few hours, I need to charge it at night. Charging (USB-micro standard) doesn't take too long and spare batteries still available. Bluetooth works fine, connects to my car stereo, and also worked with rental cars. I believe that Bluetooth will run the battery down even faster. Obsolete, but my plan is so much cheaper than the cheapest data plans that it doesn't really bother me that much to switch.Read full review

I love this phone! Okay, I have several phones & this is not a Droid 4 or anything, it's just a feature phone. But it's a nice one. For one, I like the keys better than the other previous models. It is much easier to dial a number on this version. The full keyboard is about the same. The Back & End keys & Call & Speakerphone keys are switched around from some other models so you may need to get used to the new positions. Virgin Mobile is a great cheap company, and I love physical keyboards for typing. Battery life isn't bad but CDMA phones never seem to get as good of battery life as GSM phones. More data is transferred - maybe that's why.
I LOVE my new phone!! The buttons are big and easy to push for texting. The screen is large and has clear graphics. It took me a bit to figure out how to enter events on the calendar and emails are tracked a little differently than I'm used to. So that's why the ease of use is only 4 out of 5. BUT my service with Virgin/Assurance outweighs some of my friends with far more expensive deals and over all this phone is the best I've owned. Can't wait to get a really cute cover to personalize it and some earbuds to make it complete!! My husband wants the same phone now!!
Easy to use... I just used Google to find its online manual. I did not want a complicated Smart phone. This has all the functions that I wanted. My Kyocera Rise is locked to the Virgin Mobile/ Boost network. So I call Virgin Mobile, and they quickly set up my phone on their network.
