Pros: I go through a lot of phones as a contractor. I break them about every 2 years. I buy these phones because even when the little things fall off, they still work and they are pretty tough; ie dropping, banging them and getting them wet. I've never cracked or broken a screen in the 5 of these I've owned. This one is good in damp locations, great battery life, fast charge. Keyboard and buttons light up, excellent sound quality, blue tooth, headset compatible and screen is easy to read for text. I like the menu formats and the different features for reminders and alarms. It also has voice command and that works well and is easy to access with one button on side. Cons: internet is hit or miss because of the age of the technology in the phone and lack of update support. Don't buy this phone if you're looking to go online. There is no chip so that makes life simple to switch and add a phone but then you have no back-up for your contacts. I keep contacts on my computer. Not much memory for text messages, about 250 and then you have to erase. But it has lock features to secure texts you want to save. The camera is low quality but others can see the pictures well enough for the things I send. Viewing a picture is difficult because of the size of the screen. It receives multimedia messages but difficult to send back to groups without adding the other contacts manually. If you need a good phone for emergencies, kids, if you're hard on your phones and don't need the extras, this is a great phone.Read full review

I bought this for the sd card slot. It doesn't read any format of audio file and headphone jack is not standard pin size...Bummer

This is a very nice phone for those who just talk and text. The slide feature works well, much better than the hinged style that seams to be taking over. Voice quality, range and battery life seem to be fine. For a phone that is never shut off, it holds a charge for a couple of days. The only downside seems to be the camera. There is no video feature, and you can't edit and crop pictures as with other phones. The plus side also includes the fact that you go straight into speaker mode sliding it open to answer, very nice, especially with just one hand. Also, having a keyboard on the outside is great for quick responses, again with one hand. All in all, a worthwhile purchase for those of us who use a phone for a phone, and not as a mobile computer.
I like the sliding feature of this phone. It is a good size, not too big or small. There are lots of cases available to choose from. Camera is not bad. The pics I have taken have come out pretty good. There can't be any movement though, or it comes out blurry. The only downside to the phone-there is no video. So you cannot take video or receive video messages. Kind of a pain because you have to log onto the Verizon website to view the video. I have had lots of cell phones. Usually get a new one every few months. This is a great basic phone. If you talk and text without all the extra bells and whistles, this is a decent phone.
I purchased this phone because I wanted a smaller phone than the one I had. I purchased the red model and I love the color of it. I also like that it doesn't have a touch screen and when you lock the keypad, it stays locked. Not like the one I had. The only things I really dislike about it is no video cam and the small size of the keys but I can live with that. When you want a small phone you have to give up something and I really used the vid cam anyway. I researched the phone on CNet.com before I purchased it and it had mostly good reviews. I'm satisfied and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a larger, touch screen style phone.
