I have had the Nexus about a month...I love it!!!! I upgraded from a samsung Restore on the sprint network...was a great upgrade. I think my favorite thing about the phone is the live wallpapers those are soo cool to watch... Battery life and the keyboard freezing up are my 2 least favorite things about the phone...but I knew about those when I bought it. And since I only paid $180 for a phone that was almost $600 i think I can live with a few cons to it... compared to other google phones...I used to have a G1 from Tmobile....I liked it but this Nexus blows it away...So I highly reccommend this phone...Just make sure you keep your charger close...
Probably the best phone I have ever had. With 16GB it has more than enough storage to download a ton of apps and customization features such as games, wallpaper, ringtones and enough memory to keep taking pictures. The camera takes pretty sharp pictures and the flash works wonderful in low light conditions. Most importantly it runs fast! You can launch an app and within seconds you're playing games or watching youtube videos. This is my first all touch screen phone without a physical keyboard but you get use to it really fast since the screen is so big (compared to other android phones or even the iPhone) but don't worry because the phone is still real slim that you can carry it in your pocket with ease. A great phone from Sprint that I highly recommend!
Nice and clean Android. It is like clean paper, you need to adjust and color everything depending on your taste. This phone is for person who have time to adjusting or person who need perfect clean android without any HTC,Samsung etc. additions. This phone is nice looking, funny shape but not for girl. Because girls need easy and ready phones. Everything is plastic. Phone is light, and nice feeling, but it is too light and when you imagine big android phone you thinkin about something probably heavy, but when you take this phone, you are like, "Hey, why it is so light?" Like it is empty phone case. Yeah it is Samsung it is plastic. But dont worry, its not going to brake in your hands. But i feel better with my HTC phone, which have plastic, glass, metal on it. I dont like screen shape, it hard to put and keep screen protector on it. As i said, this is very nice phone, but i prefer my HTC android more than any Samsung Android phone.Read full review
This is my first Android-based phone and I am very happy with it. The battery life is average, with texting, calling, and using apps I usually have a low battery (10%) by 10PM, so that is about 14 hours of use. It seems to have improved a little after having the phone for a while. The call clarity is excellent and people say they can hear me very clearly. The phone comes with a bare-bones Android system which I LOVE because it basically removes all complaints that people have about Android phones, which is usually the unnecessary stuff that the phone manufacturers and service providers add before shipping the phone to you. What you immediately notice is how smoothly everything moves across the screen, it is like using an iOS based device, just like Google intended! Another thing I like about this device is that it is similar in size to an iPhone. I think it is the perfect size because it doesn't bother me when it is in my jean pocket and it fits in my hand well. All-in-all, this is one of the best designed Android devices and it is supposed to have Android 4.0 coming to it too.Read full review
The Nexus S is a great android phone. With ease of rooting, overclocking, and installing custom ROMs, it's a great phone for tinkerers. Downsides are the single core processor, no outside storage (SD Card), and seemingly weaker radios. Plus sides are that the phone is still snappy, has a great looking display, and can be picked up for significantly less than its original sticker.
