For now, this is the latest Samsung phone I would buy. It's a deal breaker for me to get rid of the removable battery and sd card from newer models. They were the 2 best advantages over iPhone. However, Samsung still has 2 more advantages that I like over iPhone. First, the charging cable is micro usb so I can use the same cable to charge other electronic devices. iPhone uses their own proprietary cable that only works with their products. Second, you can drag and drop data to Samsung phones. iPhone forces you to use iTunes. Having said that, the Note Edge is a great phone. The edge looks great and I find it useful. I love the feature called Night Clock. It's a feature that dimly displays the time on the edge of the phone (in 12 hour increments). Normally, when I wake during the night, I would wake my phone to see the time. However, in complete darkness, when your phone turns on, it's so bright, even at the lowest brightness, that it's difficult to go back to sleep. Now with Night Clock, I just turn my head and I can see the time with the curved edge. I don't even have to pick up my phone. Other things are better over previous models but it's not something the normal user would notice. Yes, the screen is better, the processor is faster, the camera is better, etc. But can I really tell? No. It's only noticeable when you compare them side by side. You can't do much with the edge display but it's pretty cool. With the edge, you can add frequently used apps, display personalized messages, use the Night Clock, display notifications and news. It's absolutely not necessary but it adds a "Wow" factor. I get comments on it all the time. Another thing I like is that this phone seems to be rare. It's different because only one edge is curved. To be honest, I have not seen another person yet with the same phone. Bottom line; Almost identical to the Note 4 but with the edge...For me, there were 4 determining factors that made me decide on this phone. Large screen size, edge screen, removable battery and SD card. As far as I know, this is the only Samsung phone that has all 4...As of now, I refuse to purchase newer models because of the lack of removable battery and sd card. For those that feel the same, this phone is awesome!Read full review

Got this phone at a great price $215 brand new. With most of the newer Samsung phones having less and less features but costing more and more money it's great to have a fantastic phone with great features such as caller name announcement, IR Blaster w tv remote, the best stock email of any smart phone, hot keys that u program with your most commonly used words names or phrases, a stylus pen that's helpful, an edge screen that's useful and so many more. But battery life with oem battery is awful. 20-30% per hour. Buy extra batteries (and yet another great feature. ..removable memory and removable batteries). I must have a removable battery. I use the red extended life batteries from Deep Stretch with NFC, and that battery can give me 10-12 hrs. I keep 3 with the Samsung external battery chargers and protectors and battery life is never a concern. I took a road trip in a rental and had a non removable battery. I was on the road for 3hrs before i tried to plug my phone in to charge. ..guess what...the phone chargers didn't work in the car...blown fuse. So in the middle of the night, out in no where i have to pull over to find an open place to charge my phone which was also my gps. I had to sit for an hour in the middle of nowhere and wait for the phone to charge to a decent level and then stop again. Never again. Nonremovable batteries are dangerous and in convenient. I'm at a large all day conference and everyone is fighting for the plugs to charge their phones. Hard to concentrate on speaker when you have to keep an eye on your phone across the room on the floor. Plus i needed to use my phone but couldn't because it was on the floor charging. I hate phones with non removable batteries. That's why I'm using the older model Samsung Galaxy Note Edge...More gadgets and a removable battery.Read full review

The seller claimed this device was a showroom/store unit and rated its condition at 8/10. My note edge has a huge dent in the top right corner and seems to be lifting up the screen slightly. this isn't hindering the performance of the device and the screen is perfect but putting on slim cases may be difficult with the busted corner. I would have rated the condition of the device at a 7 or even 6 out of 10 and made it cost no more than $200 but I will not be returning my unit because I feel like I can deal with this.

Been looking to get reacquainted with my Note 4 Edge since I left Sprint a couple years ago. I bought this phone to use on Metro PCS network. Although its a tmobile phone, It works unbelievably well on my network (no issues). The phone was brand new with no flaws. My daughter likes the phone better than her iPhone . The price was a steal. This phone is 4 years old and tech guy says it still.wiulf out perform most phones on the market.
