I had the Samsung Galaxy 3 after switching from the iphone. It only took a little while for me to transition to the Android system and let me tell you once I did - I have enjoyed the ease of use with this phone. My purchase of the Galaxy Note 2 has enhanced my love of the Samsung products. The Bells & Whistles that the Note offers, multi-window usage and the S-Pen features are really cool. I have the 32gb memory stick and I downloaded all apps/pics and music and still have plenty of room left for lots of storage. Downsides: not really too many - the size takes a little to adjust, but get a blue tooth or headphones to take calls a little easier. I recommend the phone highly to anyone is the Phablet market.
Only can say excellent , when i got the samsung note 2 i charge it up, turn it on took less than a minute to boot up, it had all the basic features i want , so i took my sd card out of the samsung tablet and transfer all my apps to that, it's a quad core 1.6 ghz videos run smoothly, gaming is great , movies run smoothly , up to 2 gigs of ram so don't have to really worry about low ram besides i don't install a lot of apps, also the samsung note series has a lot of features with it, and its being a tablet and phone and good size anything bigger is just a waste like walking around with a 7 inch tablet to my ear{ to bulky} the only problem is getting service on it , i have one of those pay as you go phone and with 75 dollars left on it i talk to virgin mobile they don't work with samsung note 2 but note 3 and 4 i don't believe that , being unlock i can go with any company but not going to lose 75 dollars , come on guy's and gals for less than 300 dollars brought from e-bay and it orginally cost 800 dollars it's worth itRead full review
I love my new phone...It's a very easy phone to use and I don't need to carry my tablet or computer anymore....... It's the perfect size I think the mega would have been way to large and this is perfectly sized for what I'm looking for... I had the galaxy s 2 before and it was not what I was looking for it was to small for what I needed... So I'm very happy with my new phone..
I love my galaxy note two, as much or more than my galaxy note one. My whole problem stems from the fact that this phone eats microsd cards. I have owned an microsd card ever since I started using phones that could use them. Each time I upgraded I would transfer the information from the last one to the present. Those other microsd cards usually get lost. With the galaxy note one, I had on my microsd card several years worth of documents, music, photos, etc, which were very important to me for which I had no back up due to overconfidence in my phone and cards.
Let me first say that the Titanium Gray unit had to be returned due to a problem that occurred with the 4.1.2 update and an AT&T app that canceled all Wi-Fi connectivity as I later found out. But I did get the Marble White AT&T version and am still very glad I did! I'd had my ideas of getting the Galaxy S III and chose the Note II because it is basically the same phone with a quad core processor and the slightly bigger screen. This is the BEST phone/personal computer I've ever owned and used! I am very happy with the 5.5 inch screen, it's FINALLY a phone with an easy to read and type screen with the extra size! I also have no problem with the size as it fits fine in my shirt or jacket pocket when I'm carrying it around. I can easily see me with this phone for at least the next two years! The stock battery is also finally big enough and lasts easily all day for me so no more extra large sized batteries to buy but I did buy two extra standard batteries from an eBay seller, as I would with any new phone, just in case I'm out away from any car or a plug in. And I doubt I'll ever get any phone without an easily replaceable battery again. 4.1.2 'Jelly Bean' works flawlessly and as far as I'm concerned leaves iOS in the dust. Apple's iOS is good, I'm not an Apple hater, but Android is now a strong competitor and not the also ran Apple keeps saying, why do you think Apple keeps trying to get injunctions to stop sales? They're concerned about a better product! My only gripes aren't with this phone alone, my Galaxy S II had the same problem as many phones do nowadays, too slippery! I feel you MUST buy a case or you really risk dropping the phone. I bought the Samsung style Flip Case from an eBay seller, substantially less than from Samsung, and in the almost month I've used the phone I like that cover just fine. It protects the screen perfectly from my glasses when in my pocket and the replacement back lets it fit in the charger/stand I bought from another eBay seller without having to take off the cover every time. I also am fine with the 16GB internal storage as with the Micro-SD card slot and the lower cost of SD cards I bought a 32GB Micro SD card for the phone so I have 48GB of storage, which is fine for me and my music, audio books and podcasts. I would and do, HIGHLY recommend this phone if you're looking for a great phone and aren't scared away from all the "Phablet" talk. The next version is rumored to be even bigger! But I think the Galaxy Note II is pretty well perfect in size and functionality!Read full review
