The camera has awesome touch screen features and looks beautify sleek, stylish, thin and lightweight. If you are traveling, no more need to ask other people to take your close up pictures, the screen on the front side of the camera allows you to see yourself make poses with your friends and click a perfect photo no more cut up half head photo or bad lighting or bad angle shot of yourself :-) I just love the touch screen feel from cell phone to camera, touch screen is the way to go! and this camera does just that fully touch screen other than the power and snapshot button. The photo quality is great 12 megapixel and the digital zoom really makes the images look live and sharp. I'm sure if you get your hands on this camera you are going to enjoy taking tons of pictures of yourself and others. The best camera for you money in its class, obviously you can pay hundreds of dollars more to buy even better cameras but if you are looking for something under $300 this one has all the latest features and looks. I really have a hard time thinking about cons of this camera as its just what i was looking for in a digital camera. The TL220's front LCD features a Child Mode, which displays animated cartoon figures to keep younger subjects focused on you and the camera. Its numeric countdown display can help you time your shots perfectly, while also helping with framing. The 3" rear-panel LCD not only gives you a big bright view of the scene in front of you, but also doubles as a touchscreen interface for easy operation. For example, if you're reviewing a photo and you want to delete it, just make an "X" on the screen with your finger.Picture yourself in the Fun! works good, has a lot of features but some features have no use. Like the blink detection and the movement detection, they dont really work its better to just press the shutter button or put on the timer. The best part is the front screen. It counts downt for the timer or says when to smile. Also like the ability to erase more than 1 picture at a time and to edit them without using a computer. The only good thing from the touch screen is that you can rotate the picture with a quick swipe. I dont know if the non-touchscreen camera does that as well but yeah. But overall its a good camera especially for touchscreen lovers. Oh yeah this camera does not have a panorama mode, or at least i couldnt find it.
Sleek n Slim... More below: Pros: Sleek, Slim, wide screen with integrated touch control panel over the screen, recycle bin feature, front facing touch activated self portrait mini LCD, Touch stick -so one doesn't damage the wide screen, and good quality images @ 12.1 Megapixel, Definitely good Price !!! Cons: No Pouch with the camera, No Extra Memory card,No Panoramic Feature, Optical zoom could be higher than 4.6 would have been much better, gloss finish can get scratched easily but If one purchases a pouch for it would be better. After I received this device checked its features which supports a touchscreen panel really neat and front facing LCD for self portraits and good auto balancing of light... @ 129 USD worth it, good for starters or as a gift!
My TL225 was stolen and I bought this one as a replacement. I liked the 225 but I prefer the 220. The only difference being the back lcd screen size and resolution. The whole back of the 225 was touch screen lcd, therefore anytime I touched the lcd something would change. Not very efficient when taking pictures and often had to reset the when taking pictures. TL220 actually has fingerspace on the back to hold the camera. Takes great pics and love the front lcd. Like it much better.
